Miss Jennifer Holliday Performance

I just found out that my mother has a Youtube account. Of course, I went and checked to make sure she hadn't posted any videos of my step-dad in his tighty-whities doing the electric slide. Hey, with the way those two carry on with each other, I wouldn't be all that surprised if I found out they did have some amateur "erotica" locked up in the safe at home! Anyway, my nosiness only resulted in me finding the one video that she had saved to her favorites list--a recording of Jennifer Holliday performing "And I'm Telling You" at the 1982 Tony Awards.

Normally, I don't care for this genre of music but I make an absolute exception for Miss Holliday. This woman's performance is incomparable to any other renditions of this song. What I wouldn't give to have been in the audience that night! I'm going to have this song in my head all night long.
